## 💰Entropy

How to earn entropy, what is entropy and why do I need it?

### What is Entropy?

Entropy is used as the plugins custom currency. You earn this in many forms and is used to craft augments and upgrade your deliveries in **/fish deliveries**

**Entropy** is essential to your entire experience within fishing. Without it, you cannot upgrade your deliveries or craft augments.

### How to earn Entropy

There are many ways to earn entropy in PyroFishing. Below is a table outlining all of the possible ways to earn Entropy from fish themselves. Below will be ways that you can increase the output of the values.

| Tier | Catching Fish | Gutting Fish |
| ------------ | ------------- | ------------ |
| **Bronze** | 45 | 40 |
| **Silver** | 110 | 120 |
| **Gold** | 200 | 200 |
| **Diamond** | 350 | 500 |
| **Platinum** | 1250 | 1000 |
| **Mythical** | 10000 | Not Guttable |

### [Augments](/wiki/survival-server/pyro-fishing/augments.md)

If you wish to maximise your Entropy earnings, you should invest in the following Augments:

| Augment | Description |
| ----------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Hot Spot | Allows you to catch multiple fish at once, allowing you to Gut more fish for more Entropy |
| Call of the Storm | Same as Hot Spot but works in the rain. |
| Precision Cutting | Gives you more entropy from gutting fish. |
| Perception | Gives you more entropy from catching fish. (multiplies the base entropy earnings) |

\==============

### Boosters

The best way to multiply the amount of entropy you earn is through boosters. These can be normally earned from delivery rewards by default or from **/fishshop** at Spawn. You can check your booster status using **/fish boosters**

**Entropy Boosters** can have any multiplier attached to them. These will last **30 minutes** each and provide a boost to the entropy earned from **catching fish only**. Entropy Boosters do not affect gutting or any other forms of earning entropy.

### Totems

Totems are another excellent way to earn Entropy - however Totems are **mid to late** game multiblock structures. Using the **Entropy Horder** passive ability allows you to earn up-to 25% more entropy from every fish you catch.

You might also want to consider using **Mythical Waters** and **Fish Schools** as these will increase the tiers of fish you catch and increase **Hot Spot** and **Call of the Storm** to work more often.

### [Skills](/wiki/survival-server/pyro-fishing/skills.md)

Fishing Skills can also be very important to stocking up and building up your entropy stores while fishing.

It is advised to put a few points into the **Better Gutting** and **Luck of the Catch** skills as these help to improve your entropy from Gutting and from Catching Fish respectively.

Furthermore, putting points into **Master Augmenter** can benefit if you wish to craft Perception and Precision Cutting and don't already have those augments.

Check out the Skill page for more information on Skills.

### Gutting

Fish gutting is another way to make Entrophy\
\
NOTE \* Fish gutted will be destroyed - so choose wisely if you want to Gut or sell your fish.\
\
Open **/fish gut** place any fish you want to exchange for Entrophy then click **'Gut for Entrophy'**\
